AgentLink

The coding agent on your computer works fine — it just assumes you are sitting next to it. AgentLink runs that line to your phone: follow progress, add an instruction, clear the approvals it is waiting on, then carry on in the same session when you are back.

01The problem

It does the work, you do the waiting

Once a task is handed to a coding agent, the expensive part is rarely how fast it writes. It is how long it spends waiting on you: a confirmation, a clarification, a permission.

  • A confirmation box appears mid-task while you are on the move, so it waits until you are back.
  • Asking "why did you change it that way" needs a return to the desk first.
  • Exposing the port to the internet puts the whole development machine out there. The trade is not worth it.
  • An error seen on the phone cannot reach the session that produced it.
02Capabilities

What the phone can do

Follow progress

Which session is running, how far it has got, what it is stuck on — visible without walking back.

Keep typing

Add a requirement or change direction. The session carries on at the computer, no restart.

Clear approvals

Commands waiting for confirmation, actions waiting for permission — tapped through from the phone.

Many agents, one entrance

Several agents and workspaces open at once, all in one list. No need to remember which machine has what.

It connects to the coding agent you already run on your computer rather than replacing it with a new one. Codex and OpenCode are supported today; you keep working the way you do, only the "watch progress" and "approve" parts move to the phone.

  • Codex — sessions and approvals you can pick up from the phone.
  • OpenCode — the workspaces you already use show up directly in the phone session list.
03On screen

What it looks like on your phone

Three real-device screenshots below, not mock-ups (the session content is demo data): the session list of every coding agent on your computer, the full progress record inside one session, and the device centre. This is what you see once installed.

AgentLink session list on a phone: multiple Codex sessions under a workspace, time-ordered, with current, running, recently done and archived filters
Sessions: every agent on your computer, in one list
AgentLink session detail: a completed Codex task with total elapsed time, expandable step history, earlier instructions and replies, and the input box to keep typing
Session detail: progress, steps and history — keep typing
AgentLink device centre: a private-network gateway shown connected, authorised device count, and management entries for computer details and connection methods
Devices: computer and phone, one place for authorisation

Install and go

Invite builds are released in batches. The phone app is an Android package; the computer app is a Windows portable bundle — unzip and run, nothing to install. The SHA256 checksums are printed right below, so you can verify a file before or after downloading it; the .sha256 sidecars are downloadable too.

How to verify: on Windows run certutil -hashfile <file> SHA256 in PowerShell; on macOS / Linux run shasum -a 256 <file>, then compare the output character by character with the value above. Or drop the .sha256 file next to the installer and run sha256sum -c — an OK result means the file is intact.

05Where the data is

Content stays on your own machines

AgentLink only carries the looking and the tapping to your hand. Session content, code and attachments stay between your own two endpoints.

What happens where

StageWhere it happens
Sessions and codeOn your computer, never uploaded
Encryption and decryptionAt your phone and your computer; nothing in between can open it
The relayIntroduces the two ends and forwards; stores nothing, decrypts nothing
Accounts and device authorisationagentlink.zyaisoft.cn — it decides who may connect, not what is connected
06Getting started

Connected in three steps

  1. Install the desktop side. It shows a claim code that puts this computer under your account.
  2. Sign the phone into the same account. Authorisation runs through the system browser — no addresses to type, no cables.
  3. Take over. The session list appears on the phone; back at the desk you continue the same session.

A lost phone is not a crisis

Revoke that device in the panel and its authorisation and connections go with it. Other devices are unaffected.

Stop it any time

Revoking a computer drops the connections it holds. It is a cut, not a pause.
